**Objective:**3rd Nine Weeks Math CBA

Students will complete the 3rd Nine Weeks CBA. The results will help me to determine which concepts still need to be reviewed before the 6th grade.

**Tuesday, April 24**

**Objective:**Relating Percents and Fractions

1. IPS in Google Classroom

2. Share several financial literacy projects.

3. Grid Patterns as Percents and Fractions.

4. Finding Percents of an Area.

Students will complete the End of the Year Test on Pearson by Friday. This may be completed for homework, or during class time when they are done with their work.

**Wednesday, April 25**

Objective:Fraction and Percent Equivalents

Objective:

1. IPS in Google Classroom

2. Share several financial literacy projects.

3. Students will begin completing Fractions and Percents Equivalent chart. They will complete all sections, except thirds and sixths. The grids/and discussions from yesterday will help them.

4. Lesson over finding models for thirds. Then find sixths. Complete the rest of the equivalent chart.

**Thursday, April 26**

Objective:Percent Equivalent Strips

Objective:

1. IPS in Google Classroom

2. Share financial literacy projects.

3. Make a Percent Equivalent Strip

4. Putting Fractions in Order activity

5. Complete Student Activity Book Unit 4, page 19.

6. If there is time, have students practice filling out a blank Fractions/Percents chart from memory.

**Friday, April 27**

Objective:Comparing Fractions

Objective:

1. IPS in Google Classroom

2. Share financial literacy projects.

3. Introducing Which is Greater?

4. Complete student pages 21 and 22.

Students will need to prove their answers, either with 4 x 6 and 5 x 12 rectangles, or with percentages.

5. If there is time, have students practice filling out a blank Fractions/Percents chart from memory.

End of the Year Test on Pearson due today.
